Recipe 354 - Apple Crisp

We have apples that need to be eaten :) I knew I wanted a nice fall dessert today but couldn't decide what to have. We finally decided a crisp would be the easiest.

I went with a classic Betty Crocker recipe. I added way more apples (because I love lots of apples in my crisp. I also cut the sugar because most desserts are too sweet for my taste and lowered the butter because I  finished up the bit we had left and didn't want to dig through the fridge to find the new butter. Next time I think I would find the other butter, the topping wasn't as decadent as I had wanted, but the sweetness was perfect.

This was enjoyable. It would have been better with some ice cream, but we had none :( I liked that it had lots of apples in it, baked apples with cinnamon are just too yummy!!! This was a family hit, we all loved it :)
